Online Caregiving Workshops

The Public Authority IHSS provider caregiving workshops are offered online via Zoom.

Self-Care for Caregivers: Learn tips to help you cope with the isolation, stress, an anxiety of providing care, and resources for taking care of your own health and wellness. This webinar will be in Spanish. To register, click here. English and Mandarin webinars will be offered in March.

Workshops offered by San Mateo County Public Authority for IHSS are not part of the State of California’s IHSS Career Pathways Program. Participants will not be paid for their attendance.

The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Career Pathways Program is an exciting optional program that provides training opportunities to enhance providers skills. IHSS and Waiver Personal Care Services (WPCS) Providers who have completed provider enrollment are eligible to register for the IHSS Career Pathways Program training courses and can be compensated for time spent attending and completing training courses.
