Caregiving Workshops

The Public Authority IHSS provider caregiving workshops are offered In-Person and on Zoom.

Important Notice: The IHSS Provider workshops offered by the San Mateo County IHSS Public Authority are optional and free of cost. Participants will not be paid for attendance.

April 16 is National Healthcare Decisions Day. Join us on April 1 for a virtual workshop presented by Family Caregiver Alliance about the importance of advance care planning, including conversations with loved ones and healthcare providers. Join us for a Caregiver Stress & Wellness Workshop for IHSS Providers from Alameda, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties on April 17, 2026. For more information and registration, click here.

CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification Training will be offered for San Mateo County IHSS Providers in May 2026. The trainings will be offered in Cantonese and Mandarin. For more information and registration, click here.
