Learn about substance use, misuse and abuse, including the root causes and societal costs. Most importantly, learn how YOU and your organization can PREVENT the harmful consequences of substance use in your community.

What is the Prevention Learning Academy?
The Prevention Learning Academy builds capacity of local groups and organizations to conduct substance use primary prevention work. Attendees learn about substance use and what they can do to prevent substance use in San Mateo County communities using environmental strategy.

Community-Based Organizations, Community Leaders, Faith-Based Organizations, Policy Makers, Health System Staff, School Personnel, Law Enforcement, Human Services Agency staff, staff from other counties. All trainings are open to the public.
