Sometimes it feels like we go through our challenges alone, and it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Recovery is possible. These stories are proof.

BHRS’ Office of Diversity and Equity (ODE) advances health equity in behavioral health outcomes of marginalized communities throughout San Mateo County. ODE’s Storytelling Program empowers community members to heal and address issues within their communities. Participants engage in workshops that help them create and share their stories in different forms. Check out the storytelling program here.
