San Mateo County Health System’s process is to report the flu deaths of persons under-65 directly to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), which typically releases weekly reports a week or so after the reporting date. Those reports are found here:

As San Mateo County confirms that its numbers are included in the CDPH report, the Health System will release the number in San Mateo County.

During the last reporting cycle, which ended on April 7, San Mateo County had zero confirmed influenza death of individuals under the age of 65.

The total number of reported under-65 flu deaths in San Mateo County this flu season is four (4).
