Public Health, Policy & Planning (PHPP) is one of 11 divisions in San Mateo County Health. PHPP strives to protect the health of everyone who lives, works, learns, and plays in San Mateo County. Our programs work to prevent the spread of communicable diseases, deliver targeted health care services and other critical community services, and build communities that make it easy to stay healthy. The nine units (shown below) conduct specific activities to help improve the health of those who live and work in San Mateo.
