May 21 - Providing Therapy to Our Native & Indigenous Communities
Join the San Mateo County Native & Indigenous Peoples Initiative for an informative workshop on how to support Mayan Communities, with a focus on understanding their unique challenges, barriers to behavioral health access, and the factors that influence their well-being. RSVP here.
May 26 - Understanding Trauma in the Latiné Community
Learn how trauma impacts Latiné communities, including immigration experiences and barriers to care, and explore culturally responsive, equity-centered resources. Hosted by the Latino/a/x Collaborative.
June 9-11 - Youth Substance Use Prevention & Advocacy Academy
The San Mateo County Overdose Prevention Coalition invites Jefferson Union High School District students to apply to a 3-day Youth Leadership Academy. Attendees will build leadership and prevention skills, design real campaigns that make an impact and learn how to make change in your community. Apply here by June 5.

June 13 - San Mateo County Pride Celebration
San Mateo County’s 14th Annual Pride
Celebration will take place on Saturday June 13 from 11 a.m. – 5
p.m. at San Mateo Central Park. This free and sober event is a
space to champion inclusion and wellness for LGBTQIA+ folks and
allies in our county. There will be live entertainment, DJ,
resource and vendor booths, food trucks, family-friendly
activities and more. Come celebrate our community’s effort to
build a connected, supportive and well San Mateo County
for all!
