San Mateo County Overdose Prevention Coalition

San Mateo County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services and our community partners are  building a county-wide coalition to reduce the number of overdose deaths, increase access to recovery and treatment services, and improve the overall health of our community

Please join us for a guided focus group to discuss this critical issue and ways to respond:

Redwood City: Wednesday September 25 from 4-5 p.m. at Voices of Recovery, 650 Main St., Redwood City, CA.

Pacifica: Wednesday October 9 from 5-6 p.m. at Oceana High School, 401 Paloma Ave, Pacifica, CA.

Daly City: Tuesday November 12 from 4-5 p.m. at Daly City Youth Health Center, 350 90th St, 3rd Floor, Daly City, CA. 

San Mateo: Thursday December 5 from 2-3 p.m. at College of San Mateo, 1700 W Hillsdale Blvd, Personal Counseling, Bldg 5, Room 339, San Mateo, CA.

East Palo Alto: Thursday January 23 from 4-5 p.m. at YMCA, City Room, 550 Bell Street, East Palo Alto, CA. 

In-person focus groups will provide:

  • Light refreshments.
  • Chances to win $25 gift cards.
  • Free naloxone.

Registration not required for in-person focus groups

Virtual: Tuesday October 22 from 10-11 a.m. on Zoom. Registration for this session is required. Please register here
