Tomoki Kimura, MD
PGY4 Co-Chief Resident
Dr. Kimura completed his medical degree at Harvard Medical School and his undergraduate degree at Yale University. As a medical student, he served as senior clinician, senior director, and head of the medical education committee for the Harvard Crimson Care Collaborative Student Clinic. This experience highlighted for him the extent to which mental health needs are not being met for many vulnerable populations, and the impact this deficit has on everything from substance abuse and obesity to medication non-compliance and healthcare utilization. In his training and future career, he hopes to help improve access to mental health services, and the utility of healthcare models that more closely integrate psychiatrists into the front lines of primary care.
