Raziya S. Wang, MD
Program Director, Psychiatry Residency Training Program
Dr. Wang completed her MD at New York University School of Medicine and her pediatrics internship and psychiatry residency at Yale University School of Medicine. After moving to the west coast, she joined the faculty at Stanford University, in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences with a focus on psychiatry resident education and college mental health. In 2012, she was delighted to have the opportunity to join the San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services as Program Director for the Psychiatry Residency and as Designated Institutional Official overseeing graduate medical education. Her teaching interests include public psychiatry, cultural humility and structural competency. Dr. Wang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and continues as Clinical Assistant Professor (Affiliated) at Stanford University School of Medicine.
