Jonathan Tsang, MD
PGY4 Co-Chief Resident, San Mateo-UCSF Public Psychiatry Fellow
Jonathan Tsang is a graduate of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to medical school, Jonathan served as an AmeriCorps Justice Corps member and committed more than 500 hours to serve litigants who could not afford attorneys in self-help centers in California Superior Court. As a medical student, Jonathan volunteered with the East Harlem Outreach Partnership free clinic as both a student clinician and case manager. As a psychiatry resident, Jonathan continues to pursue his interests in public psychiatry as well as meeting the need for culturally sensitive mental health care in the Asian American population. He is currently a San Mateo – UCSF Public Psychiatry Fellow and is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
