Profile

Alice Dong graduated with a degree in biochemistry at the University of Washington, with departmental and interdisciplinary honors, where she received the UW Husky Impact award for global health initiatives and Mary Gates Research scholarship for neurodevelopmental research using gene editing. In medical school, she developed the neuroscience curriculum for students and led a statewide needs-based assessment to expand access to early intervention first episode psychosis programs. Her clinical interests include integrative and neurointerventional psychiatry, with specialized training in CBT, ACT, ERP for OCD, Internal Family Systems, and the Neuro-Sequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), a trauma-informed, neurodevelopmental framework for assessment and treatment. Passionate about building community and fostering social rehabilitation, she has co-led initiatives such as the “Diet for Depression” cooking group and other creative projects to cultivate residency culture. She is equally committed to teaching—both in classrooms and community settings—where she works to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration. She is a 2024-2025 MERF Scholar, 2025 TMS Society PULSES scholar, and currently receiving training from the UCSF Osher Clinic for Integrative Health and Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.
