YouthPoint Health: A New Name, Expanding Access to Integrated Care for Youth
June 2026 BHRS Director's Newsletter
After more than 35 years as Daly City
Youth Health Center, we are proud to introduce our new
name: YouthPoint Health. This change
reflects the full scope of who we are today, a place where young
people can access a wide range of services that support their
health and wellbeing.
YouthPoint Health, in partnership with Jefferson Union High School District and San Mateo Medical Center, serves youth ages 5 to 25 across Northern San Mateo County, with a focus on youth and families navigating economic and systemic barriers to care. We offer integrated services that include medical care, mental health support, substance use prevention and treatment and health education. By combining these services and making them available at schools, in the community, and at our clinic, we reduce access barriers and make it easier for youth and their families to get the support they need.
Our model emphasizes coordinated, accessible care across levels of need. We serve youth with a wide range of experiences, including those facing significant mental health and substance use challenges, while also working to build earlier points of connection and support. By working across disciplines and meeting youth in familiar settings, we are able to build trust, respond effectively to complex needs, and provide support as early as possible.
As we look ahead, we are focused on expanding our work in prevention and early supportive treatment, especially for substance use. With new partnerships and grant funding, we are strengthening our ability to reach youth earlier and provide timely, trauma informed care that can make a meaningful difference.
Our new name reflects a simple goal: to be a clear and accessible point of support for youth at every stage of their journey.
