A SAFE AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL

San Mateo County Health is committed to ensuring a safe, welcoming, respectful, healing environment for everyone: our patients, clients, visitors and staff. To ensure such an environment, we prohibit:

Discrimination

Any action, language or behavior that is abusive or discriminatory, based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or other identities

Harassment 

Including sexual harassment and/or unwelcome behavior or language

Violence

Any act, or threat of, violence or intimidation, including physical assault

Weapons 

The use or brandishing of any weapon to intimidate, threaten, or assault
