Please join us for our free, in-person, 2025 Peninsula Infectious Diseases Conference.
The conference will be presented under the theme of Bridging the Gap: Integrating Clinical Care and Public Health to Improve Patient Outcomes.
This educational event is presented by County Health’s Disease Control & Prevention Program within the Public Health Policy & Planning Division, with support from Health Plan of San Mateo, Sequoia Healthcare District, San Mateo County Health Foundation, San Mateo County Medical Association, and Stanford Medicine.

The program is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, clinical pharmacists, epidemiologists, microbiologists, and other healthcare professionals with an interest in infectious diseases. Learn from renowned experts from the California Department of Public Health, San Mateo County Health, Stanford University, UC Davis, and UCSF.
The conference will emphasize the latest clinical and public health guidance for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult and pediatric infections such as:
- Measles
- Long COVID
- Tick-borne diseases
- Capnocytophaga in the context of animal bites
- C. difficile
- Mpox
- Candida auris and other healthcare-associated infections
- Pediatric TB infection and disease

When & Where
The conference will take place on September 9th (all day) and 10th (morning only) at the College of San Mateo Theatre (1700 W Hillsdale Boulevard in San Mateo). Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided.
