San Mateo County Health has partnered with Peninsula Family Service, the San Mateo County Pride Center, and Mission Hospice & Home Care to put on a screening of Laerte-Se, A biographic of Brazilian cartoonist Laerte Coutinho, who came out in 2004 as a transgender woman after nearly six decades of living as a heterosexual man.
