Eddy Zheng on Hate and Violence Against AAPI Communities

Event

Eddy Zheng, President of the New Breath Foundation and co-founder of the first-ever ethnic studies program in San Quentin State Prison, will speak about how the U.S. immigration and criminal justice systems harm AAPI communities and how recent violence fits into the larger context of AAPI history. Join us in kicking off Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month by elevating our history and celebrating our resilience. Hosted by the Chinese Health Initiative, a program of the San Mateo County Office of Diversity and Equity and Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.
