If you think you have COVID-19, it’s important to get tested. If your test results are positive and you are at risk for serious illness, your doctor can prescribe medication that can help. If you test positive, stop the spread and isolate

Test soon

If you have one or more COVID-19 symptoms, get tested as soon as possible.  

Treat early

If you are at risk for serious illness, and your COVID-19 test result is positive, contact your care team right away. Don’t delay. Treatment must be started early to work (within 5 days of first symptoms). Medication can help you recover and avoid serious illness.

Prevent illness

Be sure you are up to date with your vaccination and boosters, especially if you have a condition that could cause severe illness if you get COVID-19. Call your clinic to get vaccinated or go to myturn.ca.gov.
