The County of San Mateo, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Division (BHRS) is seeking proposals from interested parties to develop a Cultural Arts and Wellness Social Enterprise Cafe for Filipino/a/x Youth (Social Enterprise Cafe) that offers youth development and mental health programming. The Social Enterprise Cafe is an approved 5-year MHSA Innovation pilot project, beginning in Fiscal Year 2021-2022.  This request for proposals (RFP) includes the development of a social enterprise business model focused on providing holistic, culturally responsive behavioral health services to at-risk transitional age youth (16-24 years) from Northern San Mateo County that includes a physical location to serve as a culturally affirming space for Filipino/a/x youth and the community. Both qualified new providers and qualified existing Behavioral Health & Recovery Services (BHRS) providers are eligible to apply for funds.
