Introducing San Mateo County Health System's New Website

Whether you need a birth certificate, medical services, or information on how to quit smoking, the County Health System’s new website is designed to help you easily find what you’re looking for.  

It’s now easy to search our website using the new search button or the new feature How Do I? with commonly searched topics. There’s also Quick Links, a fast way to find popular searched topics, such as beach closures or where to get your child vaccinated.
 

We’ve added new features to the home page to keep you up-to-date on new health information, and to provide you with tips and information on prevention programs aimed to help keep you, your family, and the community healthy.

Check out some of our new features:

• Health Hero introduces you to a new local hero each month -- someone making a difference in the health of our communities. Check out this month’s Health Hero.
• What’s New gives you the latest health news, such as Campylobacter, a leading cause of food poisoning from chicken.
• Mythbusters features a new topic each month with myths and facts about topics such as the one this month -– The Truth About Vaccines.
• What’s Your Opinion? has a new poll each month where you can vote on a popular health topic that people are talking about. With one easy click, add your vote this month and check in to see who agrees or disagrees with you on the question: Is Obesity a Public or Private Issue?.
