Created in 2007, CHI brings together residents and partners to learn about health issues and services, advocate for language-appropriate and culturally responsive care, and expand outreach and referrals so more people can connect to help before problems escalate. The initiative is supported by Behavioral Health & Recovery Services through its Office of Diversity & Equity.
